The VESL catalogue is a thing of beauty. An enormous amount of processes are combined to create a rather sexy catalogue for a somewhat unsexy product; oil rig valves. However, if you want to sell high-value precision products, then this is the way to go. The covers are case-bound, with a single-colour printed cover wrap, matt-laminated throughout and foil blocked to the face, spine and back cover. The inners are printed on GF Smith PhoenixMotion, with tabbed-dividers matt laminated and spot UV varnished. Finally, the whole catalogue is wiro-bound in a half-canadian style. This is when the text is loose leaf and bound normally, but the cover is wrapped around the text and wire and only bound in on the back. The cover then creates a spine when the front cover is wrapped around. Sweet!
